TAS Swimming

Welcome to the home of TAS Swimming Club, based at Trinity Anglican School Cairns. Established in 2000, TAS Swimming has been fostering the next generation of Far North Queensland swimmers for more than 16 years, encouraging them to reach their full potential, while developing essential life skills and having fun.
Led by head coach Duncan Todd, TAS Swimming Club is open to swimmers of all abilities from learn to swim to world-class opportunities for the competitive swimmer. We are proud of our history, producing outstanding young men and women both in and out of the pool.
As a ASCTA Silver Level coach as well as holding an ASCA Level 5 Age Group License from the US, Duncan brings over 20 years experience to the Club. Having trained some of Australia’s very best, Duncan believes there are three fundamentals to coaching – the first is technical, the second is fitness and third and most important is philosophy.
Assistant coach Marcelino De Lima also has a ASCTA Silver Level License, as well as holding qualifications as an open water coach and a Swimming Australia Teacher of Competitive Swimming. His breadth of experience has seen him work with some of Queensland’s most talented younger swimmers both in the pool and open water.
The flexible squad structure will guide your child through their different levels of development. Want to join us, have fun and meet other like-minded parents and children? Contact 07 4036 8195 today.
